The Company
My client is a market leading manufacturer in the FMCG sector.  Their manufacturing site in Yorkshire is one of, if not the most advanced facilities in Europe, and their ongoing success has resulted in continual growth & investment for many years.  Due to additional investment in their ERP systems they are seeking an addition Business Systems Analyst to join their IT department.

The Opportunity
As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a key part in the design & implementation of business improvements & changes, initial focused around the replacement of their current ERP system, which will include significant interaction between both internal & external stakeholders.  You will be heavily involved with providing support on both application & database related issues & requests, covering such technologies as

• SAP
• Accellos WMS
• SQL Server (Oracle experience also considered)
• EDI
• General Windows Server environment issues

Typical Support will include

• Analysis / Amendment of reports from ERP systems
• Investigation of any issues raised with data / reporting, with significant SQL work required
• Analysis / amendments to database issues, correcting EDI errors, investigation of any data errors / issues, running out of hours SQL scripts as required
• Configuration / creation of application data & functionality including user definition, screen layouts, print configuration etc
• Providing any user account creation / amendment and associated additional user training as required

The successful candidate will have a pro-active approach to their work, as well as being able to demonstrate strong experience of dealing with both customers & suppliers.  You'll have significant experience of database / ERP systems management, as well as being comfortable as a Super User / Subject Matter Expert.  You will have experience of Administrating IT Service Management systems, ideally within the FMCG / Manufacturing sectors.
