Network Engineer required for my market leading FMCG client - a household name globally!  Due to significant investment in their N Yorkshire site, and with major systems improvements ongoing & planned, this new team needs a skilled, ambitious & driven Network Engineer to be their networking specialist.  If you have a proven background of both support & project work, ideally CCNA or above (or can demonstrate this level of knowledge), then you are not going to want to miss this role.

The Opportunity
The role of Network Engineer would see you providing full network IP management for their site, as well as being involved with a large amount of project work.  Typical duties would involve

• Working closely with an Infrastructure Engineer, you will deliver complex network solutions
• Management of local hardware (switches, etc), upgrading / installing new kit as required
• Have responsibility for site IP infrastructure & administration
• Proactively improve IT network and security as required
• Be the point of escalation for any network related issues
• Promoting best practice, and providing training as required

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate

• CCNA level knowledge & experience.  Ideally you'll be CCNA certified, if not you'll be able to demonstrate CCNA level skills & experience
• Strong Network / Security knowledge 
• Proven hands on experience, both for existing systems and new installs
• Exceptional business focused approach - you'll be providing the highest levels of customer service possible
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, etc
• Flexibility - a "can do" attitude is essential within this close knit team
