The Company
My client is a market leading SaaS business, based in County Durham, who due to their ongoing success & growth are seeking additional Cloud Infrastructure specialists to join their dedicated Infrastructure team.

The Opportunity
As a DevOps Engineer / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer you will play a key part in the ongoing development and administration of their online platform - hosted in Azure.  Working with all within the technology teams & wider business, this role would see you responsible for the build & release of pipelines, Infrastructure as Code and platform availability and associated monitoring.  Typical activities would include

• Use of best practice Infrastructure as Code for the delivery of stable & scalable platforms, as well as associated monitoring to ensure continuity of services
• The creation & maintenance of CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps
• Significant collaboration within both your infrastructure team, as well as other interested parties (ie Development teams, Architects, Leadership teams etc)

The successful candidate would be able to demonstrate a strong background of Cloud based Infrastructure development & administration, ideally within Azure, together with a pro-active & collaborative approach to your work.  You will have significant experience of working with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and you'll be used to working with typical DevOps tools such as Terraform & Docker etc.
